Sign up to speak at a Gilbert Town Council meeting and show our local staff they matter. Three minutes at the podium can change someone's day — and our whole community.
Pick a council meeting date and tell us what you'd like to share. Takes about two minutes.
We'll email you a calendar invite, speaking tips, directions, and everything you need to feel ready.
Walk to the podium, share your three minutes of positivity, and make someone's year.
There's a lot of negativity and anger in the world right now. We see it online, in the news, and sometimes even in our own neighborhoods. We started Staff Champions because we believe Gilbert can be different — that we can choose to be a place where people lead with kindness instead of frustration.
This isn't complicated. We want to inject some positivity and some light into our community. We want to show up at council meetings not just to complain, but to recognize the people who keep this town running. To say "thank you" in a public forum where it actually gets heard.
Most of all, we want to get back to what made Gilbert a community in the first place — neighbors looking out for each other, showing appreciation, and being a positive force for good. That's who we are. Staff Champions is just a way to make it easier.
We're not an organization or a political group. We're your neighbors — people who live here, work here, and believe that recognition shouldn't be the exception. We think a few minutes of genuine appreciation can shift the tone of how our community engages with local government.
